Mini-symposium on Rhythm

Like many aspects of behavior and biology, music and speech are replete with rhythms. As such, understanding the production, processing, and evolutionary origins of temporal patterns in speech and music is critical for understanding human communication and social behavior. In this mini-symposium, four speakers will discuss social and biological modulators of rhythm production and processing as well as mechanisms underlying the production and processing of rhythm. We hope that you will join us for this event!
