Marie Labelle’s work focuses on the acquisition of French by children of ages 2 to 11. She has worked on various aspects of French syntax and semantics, namely Relative clauses, Tense and Aspect, Determiners, Flexional and derivational morphology, Quantifiers, as well as on the interaction between syntactic knowledge, metasyntactic knowledge, and reading performance.
