The Montreal chapter of Growing up in Science is excited to invite you to our first event: a conversation with Dr. Sylvain Baillet!

Dr. Baillet is a professor of Neurology and Neurosurgery, Biomedical Engineering, and Computer Science at McGill University. Among his many achievements and contributions, he is a global leader in neuroimaging and electrophysiology, and a prolific developer and promoter of open science resources, and is currently serving as Associate Dean of Research at McGill’s Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences. By attending this event, you will get to hear about Dr. Baillet’s personal path towards an international research career that started in Europe, then the United States, and now Canada. We will also discuss how we can collectively improve academia through supportive and honest conversations.
