CRBLM Scientific Day 2021
Scientific Day is an annual event that showcases the research interests of the Centre for Research on Brain, Language and Music (CRBLM). The 2021 Scientific Day will be held online. The day will include a keynote address by Dr Aniruddh Patel, poster presentations, and an annual general assembly. Registration and submission details below.
Schedule for the day:
10:00-10:20 – Annual General Assembly (recommended for faculty members)
10:30-12:00 – Keynote speaker: Dr Aniruddh Patel. Talk title: “Beat perception and synchronization: neural mechanisms, evolution, and links to language processing.” Abstract here.
13:00-14:00 – Poster session 1
14:00-15:00 – Poster session 2
NOTE: Those wishing to submit an abstract can do so on the registration form by clicking on the option to submit an abstract (250 words maximum, in English or French). The deadline for submitting an abstract is April 15 [EDIT: Deadline extended to noon on April 21]. The final poster, as well as a 1-2 min video presentation, must be submitted by May 11. Students submitting posters may also be interested in registering for the CRBLM workshop on making a video presentation on May 3.
