Fatiha Sadat is a professor in computer science at UQAM since 2007. She was a researcher at the National Research Council of Canada from 2004 to 2006. She received her PhD and Master degrees from the Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), Nara, Japan. Her areas of research are Natural Language Processing, machine learning and digital humanities.
Her research is supported by several funds from NSERC, FRQNT, MITACS and QNRF.
